Sending Coins / Bills
We recommend that you use a shipper that provides you with some kind of tracking.  Delivery confirmation works but it won't tell you anything about a package until after it has been delivered. 

Up to 2 pounds of coins sent via a flat rate U.S. Priority Mail Box is $ 4.80 if you buy the postage online via the www.usps.com website.  Delivery confirmation is free with this service.

If the value of the coins that you are sending is substantial, over $ 100 in total value, we suggest that you purchase insurance for the package.  While lost packages are rare, we want you to be able to hold the shipper responsible if it is their fault.

Payment for coins
We typically pay for the coins and bills sent to us with a business check via return mail immediately, which can take a few days by U.S. Mail.  If, however, you would like to receive your funds via Paypal on the same day that they are received, we can accommodate that type of payment.  You must provide us with your Paypal e-mail address for a Paypal credit.

We have recently changed to a FLAT EXCHANGE RATE for all currency coins (and currency bills) that you send to us at $ 1.00 (One Dollar) for one € (1 Euro) or 1 British Pound.  The recent downward movements in the Euro due to the problems in Greece have affected our exchange rate and our rate is subject to change without notice on this site.  Please contact us by e-mail to verify our exchange rate.

Please note that we buy euro coins and not pennies or pence coins.

Bulk coins, which for us includes all coins not listed on our "coins we buy" list, we pay $ 5.00 per 100 coins or $ 5.00 per pound.  We will also pay for your postage costs.  Before you send a large quantity of coins, please contact us.
